Trust Us gets a 4 Star Review

Wanted to share the review of Trust Us received from Mary's Naughty Whispers.

General: 4
Characters: 5
Plot: 5
Sex level: 4
Credibility: 4
Originality: 4

What a great menage BDSM story!

From beginning to end, I was enjoying to read this story. It has all the ingredients that I love: great plot (suspense) and great characters.

Heaven O’Shey is a new author but what a start! It is always exciting to read a new author. I never know what to expect. Will they copy the other authors and lack of imagination or will they just bring something new and exciting? Heaven O’Shey brought a breath of fresh air… from the bayou! lol

For the complete review visit Mary's Naughty Whispers.

Trust Us is the first in the Love's Bayou series. It has MFM, suspense, romance, a little light BDSM, and heavy on the erotic. Don’t let the cover fool you, Trust Us has an intriguing plot and hot sex.

Friend Friday with Davin Kimble

Welcome to Friend Friday. My guest blogger this week is my good friend Davin Kimble.

For Love and Writing

Love.

There is still a part of me that believes that love is a mental dysfunction. The term ‘mental dysfunction’ is used to describe conditions that cause people to have disturbed thinking, behaviour and moods. Let me ask you, what sane person would go through the trials we go through for love? Only love can cause the mental break that would allow one to forget themselves. And after love is lost … Do we find ourselves as we were? No. We find ourselves irreparably altered broken and repaired, distorted in the image we have for ourselves. But we love anyway. Rarely by choice we find ourselves drawn and compelled to love. Love, some say, is like God. Omnipotent, all encompassing and larger than our understanding.

Writing.

There is still a part of me that thinks the drive to write is a mental dysfunction. Let me ask you, what sane person would go through the trials we go through to produce a good piece of work? Let’s not even debate a GREAT piece of work. Writing causes a different type of mental break than love does. Hell a mental break is almost required of you in order to write and write well. We take ourselves outside of reality and into a world that exists only in our minds. Then we torture ourselves translating what we see in that world onto the page. Once is never enough. Once we’re done with one piece, like addicts, we begin another, sometimes more than one at a time. It’s a lonely suffering but we write anyway one keystroke at a time over and over. But we write anyway. Rarely by choice we find ourselves drawn and compelled to write.

Love and writing are like alcoholism, or drug addiction. They are mental dysfunctions that we find some sense of peace, some solace within. They make us feel both terrible and terrific at once. They fill us with dread and with desire. They are states of being that we both cheer and despair.

I write for love and I write of love. Love inspires my writing and writing leads me to understand love. In order to be a good writer you need two essential elements, love and truth. If your writing is done in anything but love the reader will know it. If you fudge the truth your readers will know it and all your efforts will be for naught. Writers suffer for the love of their work a dual mental condition. I think I’ll coin it … Lufian Writian. Add it to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Hump Day Snippets ~ 2

This week’s snippet comes from Murals of Lust by Raavee and Shey.

Shey is my naughty twin, she has given me permission to post this snippet. Her naughtiness really displayed in all its glory, in this book. The book is spicy hot and filled with lots of steamy instances to get you ready and scorching for hump day.

Perfect Ending to a Hectic Day
by Shey

He closes in on her backing her up against the wall. He pulls her close as He takes her lips in a passionate kiss as His hand cups her pussy. He unzips His pants freeing His hard cock as He lifts her up and plunges into her wetness. Ruthless in His strokes as He takes her mouth to muffle their cries of passion.

Live Your Fantasy Through Books

T.S. Eliot said, “Humankind cannot bear too much reality.”

Nowadays, we are bombarded with reality in the form of media news and responsibilities of careers and family.
Relief can often be found in the form of books, where imaginative authors take us to other worlds. We can live vicariously by following characters’ adventures and love lives, and yet remain safe from physical danger or actual jeopardy to our real life relationships.
Unlike reality, these imaginary worlds and characters are ours to access at our convenience as we just relax and let the drama and romance unfold.

Clay and Blade’s Ménage Philosophy

Clay and Blade’s are BDSM Masters in Trust Us, Love’s Bayou Book One. Their views on ménage are as follows.
When two men share everything with a woman, the quality of life for all three is enhanced. With both of them giving a woman such as Bri, the love and attention that she deserves, it leaves no doubt that she is cherished. One of them is always close by, in case she has any need.
In return, she gives all of herself to them, heart, mind, and body. She knows that their relationship is one of trust and the men have her best interest at heart. They will protect her with all that they have and are, to ensure their life together will be a long and happy one.
One of Clay’s friends, Scott had told him a long time ago, “Touch a woman’s mind and her body will follow.” Upon hearing this, Clay and Blade have incorporated it into their philosophy of their interaction with women. As mature men and true Masters, women were precious to the brothers, and the two sought a lasting and meaningful relationship.

Trust Us can be found at: Amazon   Barnes & Noble

Threats to her life force her under their protection, in lieu of protective custody. Her abusive past causes her to distrust all men and believe love is a fairy tale. The brothers in their kind and loving efforts show Bri, that not all men are the same and love does exist.
While under their protection, Bri is introduced to the joys of a menage a trois, and experiences heights of ecstasy, the pleasure of pain, and genuine love and caring.
She finds her life evolving in ways she never imagined, as she tries to run from her feelings and those trying to harm her.

Next her assailant’s hand grabbed the tie of her top, at her nape, jerking her to her feet. Before she knew it, his fingers were poking painfully into her bicep. Cold steel touched her side, as trepidation set in, and Bri thought, “Oh God. I’m going to die!”
Twisting her head around to see her assailant, she couldn’t tell who he was, with the ski mask covering his face. He didn’t speak a word. As she struggled to pull away, his grip tightened and the steel of the barrel pressed into her side, painfully reminding her who was in control.
Towing his captive toward the copse of trees, he wanted his prize secluded from prying eyes.

Is More Better?

Since menage is a part of my Love’s Bayou series, I am wondering how others felt about this type of relationship.
Please take time to express yourself in my poll.
Thanks,

Guest Author Elise Elliott

My friend Elise Elliott is guest posting today. Elise is retired and lives in the South with her dog, Harley. She writes fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.

This is a little sneak peak from my upcoming book, Accidental Adventures of Morty and Hildy.

After helping Sela clear the table, Hildy followed her into the cozy little kitchen and almost dropped her armload of dishes.
"W...w...what...," was all she could manage to get out, as she gazed in horror and disbelief at the huge alligator staring up at her from the kitchen floor.
"Damn Floyd! I've told you about sneaking in here and scaring people. Do you want someone to call the game warden? Do you want them hauling your spoiled green ass back to the bayous?"
Hildy had frozen since her first glimpse of the fifteen foot reptile, and was amazed to see him scurry out the back door which Sela held open for him. Taking the dishes from Hildy's trembling hands, Sela put them in the sink and led the still baffled and shaken girl to a chair. When she had fetched a glass of water for her guest, Sela joined her at the table and said, "Let me tell you about Floyd. Once you understand you'll know there is nothing to fear from him."

After the release of this book, I’ll be coming out with my second book of poetry.
My first book of poems Leaves From The Book Of My Life can be found at Amazon, Barnes & Noble.

Fucking her with his tongue, he felt her hips rising against his mouth. He didn’t tell her to keep still; this was an expedition to learn how she responded. However, her wanton body was playing hell with his control, and he had to rein it in fast so that he wouldn’t lose it in his jeans.
Damn!
He never had problems controlling his lust before Bri.

St. Patrick's Day in Love's Bayou

The Community House of Love’s Bayou was decorated with green roses and streamers. Tables were set with green tablecloths, green plates, and crystal goblets from Ireland.
Irish music played softly in the background, while the aroma of Colcannon and Guinness Bread wafted through the room. Colcannon is a traditional Irish dish of cabbage, potatoes, onions, and bacon.
Dessert consisted of green shamrock shaped cookies and little white rounds of cream cheese and coconut.
After the banquet, some in the community returned to their homes, while others dispersed to Club Amour for more intimate and intense celebration.

Trust Us is centered in the town of Love’s Bayou.

Authors Helping When Tragedy Strikes

Re-posting.
Sometimes we all can use a little help when tragedy strikes. If you can help, please do, every little bit counts.

The lovely Ms. O'Shey has kindly allowed me to hijack her blog and appeal to her fans on behalf of my son - Joshua Moore. Joshua is an excellent copy-editor. He edits all of my writing, except the erotic romances. A little uncomfortable for a young man to edit his father's erotic romance...

He also put his talents to good use in college editing papers for his fellow students. He was quite sought after having earned a 4.0 GPA throughout his time in college working toward a degree in philosophy. That was before he was diagnosed with Acute T-Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia. With that diagnosis came an end to his studies.

At twenty-one Joshua was one semester away from graduating with honors from University of North Carolina, Greensboro. He only attended one week of that last semester. You can read the story of his diagnosis and subsequent treatment on my blog. Joshua is now beginning a three-and-a-half year treatment program.

Because of cancer he is unable to work, yet faces mounting medical bills and repayment of student loans which came due when he left college.

Joshua hopes to use his talent as an editor to earn enough money to pay his debts and return to school in the spring of 2013. Though I have pledged all my royalties, my savings, and my retirement to his cause it isn't nearly enough. But a dear friend, and fellow erotic author Eden Baylee set up a fund to raise money for Joshua – #IndiesUnite4Joshua – and the Indie community has rallied to the cause.

The Indies Unite for Joshua campaign on IndieGoGo.com is a huge success so far – with authors, editors, and scores of others donating books and services which are being offered to supporters. The outpouring of love and support by my fellow writers and their fans is astounding. If you would like to support Joshua in his battle against Leukemia, or learn more about the campaign, please take a moment to visit Indies Unite for Joshua.
You can also click the link below to donate directly and leave a message of encouragement for Joshua. Everyone donating, either through the link below or through Indies Unite for Joshua will receive a free copy of one of my eBooks. And, as I mentioned before, ALL royalties from any of my book sells goes directly to Joshua's medical bills and student loans.

Please stand with us and help a brilliant young man battle Leukemia and return to finish his studies. If you cannot offer financial assistance please tweet, post, link, like, or otherwise promote the cause. The love, prayers, thoughts, and all around good vibes from the virtual community has held us up more than anything else.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Bri's Poem to Clay and Blade

During the commitment ceremony, Bri reads a poem to Clay and Blade, that she’s written for the occasion.

“As we stand before our friends and family, I declare my love for both of you. Although, I thought love was a fairy tale, you have shown me that it does exist. Besides my mind, body, soul, I give to both of you, my heart.”

Can You See My Heart?
Through the surf’s mist
Envelop in dense fog
Swallowed by sheets of rain
Bathed in sun light
Covered in veils
In the dark of night
From your dreams
Through your eyes
In your hearts
Can you see mine?

Be sure to read Love’s Bayou 2, which will include all the details and the grandeur of the ceremony.

The Commitment Ceremony

Coming up in Love’s Bayou 2, Clay and Blade are planning a commitment ceremony for Bri, where they will declare that she is their sub and collar her.
In Clay and Blade’s world, the commitment ceremony is more sacred than marriage vows. After the events that took place in Trust Us, the three of them sat down and discussed their wants, needs, expectations, and desires. These will be a part of their vows in the ceremony.
In preparation for the ceremony, Clay and Blade ask Megan to design an outfit for Bri. They are also having a collar and matching rings made for the three of them; each item was to be encrusted with jewels. All of the adults of Love’s Bayou are invited to join in the festivities. In Love’s Bayou celebrations like commitment ceremonies are common, as most of the residents are in a menage relationship, and have the ceremony in lieu of a wedding.
Be sure to read Love’s Bayou 2, which will include all the details and the grandeur of the ceremony.
