Thursday Thoughts ~ Southern Girls II

A southern girl is a girl who knows full and well that she can open a door for herself but prefers for the gentleman to do it because it demonstrates a sense of respect. After all, every girl wants to be treated like a princess. We pick our battles and fight with the heart of a pit-bull while still maintaining grace and elegance. Our mystique is that of a soft-spoken, mild-mannered southern belle who could direct an army, loves her momma and will always be daddy’s little girl.

If you’re in love with a southern girl, then raise your glass. If you’re not, then raise your standards.

Southern girls wear their flip flops like they are glass slippers.

The real me is a southern girl with her Levis on and an open heart. Wish I could save the world like I was super girl. The real me is to laugh all night lying in the grass just talking about love.

Thursday Thoughts ~ The South

The South where
Tea is sweet
Words are long
Roots are deep
Traditions are strong
It’s “howdy” and “hey y’all”
“Bless your heart”
With a Southern drawl
“Come set a spell”
“Kiss my grits”
“I reckon” and “hissie fits”
“Honey, Sugah, and Darlin”
That girl is “stubborn as a mule”
“Mama didn’t raise no fool”
“I do declare”
“Hush your mouth”
That’s what I love about the South

Thursday Thoughts ~ Southern Girls

“Southern girls are God's gift to the entire male population. There is absolutely no woman finer than one raised below the Mason-Dixon line and once you go southern may the good Lord help you - you never go back.” Kenny Chesnee

A true Southern Girl has big hair, a big closet, and a southern accent that will make you weak in the knees.

What makes Southern Women so hot and sexy? Southern Men.

When you hear a Southern Girl say, “Ahhh, hell no.” You better run.

Southern Girls don’t retreat. They reload.

Southern Girls may be steel magnolias, but if take a bite out of that flower you’ll lose some teeth.

"A Southern Girl puts daisies in a mason jar, monograms her towels, and is always blessin someone's little heart."

Southern Girls solves the world’s problems on their front porches.

Thursday Thoughts ~ Y'all Just Ain't Right

How to tell when your partner in lust just ain’t right.

She Just Ain’t Right
When she asks if you want a hot oil massage, and then gets the pot of grease off the stove, she just ain’t right
When you ask if she is good at licking and sucking, she takes out a Tootsie Pop, and says, “Just watch,” she just ain’t right
When she has to take her teeth out to give you head, she just ain’t right
When she spits instead of swallows, she just ain’t right
When she says “I want to blow you,” and then starts blowing in your ear, she just ain’t right
When she asks you if you want to play in the bath, then hands you a rubber duck, she just ain’t right
When she says she can’t wait to ride you, and then she jumps on your back and says, “Giddy up,” she just ain’t right
When she offers to shave you and says, “Spread your legs,” while holding a straight razor, she just ain’t right
When she doesn’t want to have a ménage with Clay and Blade from Trust Us, she just ain’t right

He Just Ain’t Right
When you hand him a condom and he says, “Oh a balloon and tries to blow it up,” he just ain’t right
When he brings the whole chicken to bed instead just a feather, he just ain’t right
When you hand him the chocolate syrup and he drinks it out of the bottle, he just ain’t right
When you ask for anal and he gives you a glycerin suppository, he just ain’t right
When you ask him if he has any toys and he shows you his G. I. Joe collection, he just ain’t right
When you tell him you like from behind, and he puts his back against yours and says, “How’s this supposed to work,” he just ain’t right
When he comes home and you’re standing there naked and he asks, “What’s for dinner,” he just ain’t right
When he ask you to remove your edible underwear so he can eat it, he just ain’t right
When he says he has a cool place to have sex, and then you find out he means the meat locker at work, he just ain’t right

Thursday Thoughts ~ Nude or Naked?

Shedding your clothes and having sex is not difficult. People do that all the time.

Do you want more from a relationship than that? I am not saying you should. That is, of course, your choice.

Exposing your mind, heart, and soul to another is another matter. Trusting and caring enough to allow another to see not just your physical body and its possible imperfections, but also your thoughts, fears, needs, hopes, and dreams is a major step.

Vulnerability on that level is truly being naked!

Thursday Thoughts ~ Sensual Seduction

Seduction is one of those words, which can evoke various images. For some, it has the connotation of someone being led astray and tempted to depart from duty, honor, and proper conduct.

For our purposes here, sensual seduction refers to interaction between two or more adults, and in no way implies anything illegal.

Sensual seduction is a pleasant and romantic interlude in which one or both partners’ attempts to entice the other to do something naughty or to feel fully the impact of sexual teasing and innuendo upon one's senses and one's body.

It is a concept which can make the most morally upright (and uptight?) and virtuous squirm, smile, blush, as they feel the heat and glow of passion.

Sensual seduction is an art in literature, as well as life. What reader has not felt the building anticipation and arousal of an enigmatic smile, a come-hither look in the eyes, and skillful verbal innuendo that is more teasing and mysterious than an outright flirt?
As a quote by Jean Baudrillard states, "Seduction is more singular and sublime than sex."
I believe that says it all.

Thursday Thoughts ~ Have Hope

When life gets us down we must have hope.

Like the Flowers
by Shey

Morning starts a cold dreary day
Snow falling from gray skies
Wind howls and swirls
All around is gloom
Tiny prints in white
Animals taking refuge
Like hearts
On the horizon a ray appears
Crocuses peeking through frozen ground
As the sun disrupts
Sunnier and warmer
Snow begins melting
Like the flowers
Have hope
For a brighter day

Like the Flowers can be found in Murals of Lust

Murals of Lust is available in English, Spanish, and French, on all of Amazon's sites, and in English and Spanish on Barnes & Noble.

Thursday Thoughts ~ When a Heart

When a Heart
By Heaven O’Shey

When a heart
Finds one it loves
It is filled with joy
Becomes whole
Skips a beat at the thought of its love
Waits with bated breath to
Hear the voice it loves
Feel its love’s touch
Just to look in its love’s eyes
Willing to lay down its life
For the one it loves
Its only request
To be loved
In return

Thursday Thoughts ~ Oops I Hit My Widdle Head

When looking in the deep in the refrigerator, and the phone rings, do not raise your head suddenly forgetting where you are. It can be surprising painful when your head whacks the top of the refrigerator’s interior.

The term seeing stars takes on a completely new meaning. Certain expletives come rolling out your mouth uncontrollably. Meanwhile, the phone is still ringing and the dog wants to go out and you cannot find your head. It seems to have rolled off somewhere.

Now, there is an incessant throbbing where your head should be and your eyes are unable to focus. Your knees are weak as you grope your way to a chair.

You take a deep breath; it occurs to you that you should put something cold on that injury. You struggle to stand and hobble back to the refrigerator. Delving into the freezer, you retrieve a bag of frozen veggies and plop in your aching top.

Later, what seemed to be a brilliant idea for dealing with a concussion now comes dripping down your face. As you get a whiff of the melting veggies, you realize sitting on top of your head, is a bag of thawed onions. Removing the dripping bag, wet onion scented hair falls in to your face. Concussions are so much fun.

I would write more, but it hard to think and write when your widdle brain hurts.
